There's a lot to see and do in Inuvik, and I'm afraid that by profiling the town dump (like the previous post on the cemetery!) that I will give the impression that we're short of interesting places to visit. That couldn't be farther from the truth, but the fact is, the dump is a really neat place to visit! I know some folks in town participate in dump diving, or "upcycling". I plan to try it out and learn more about it, but it basically involves putting on sturdy boots, and traipsing around looking for interesting things in the dump. I'm sure I'll do another blog post on that if I ever get to try it :).
