The Camera...
My baby - the Canon G12 (taken with my Dad's Canon 60D)
I am not a serious photographer, but I enjoy capturing memories and sharing them. All the photos you see on this website are mine, unless I specifically state otherwise.
The photos that have been posted since January 2014 have been taken on my Canon 70D, which is a great camera, although I would love to upgrade the lens when I save up enough money!
Prior to that, I used my Canon G12, which is a camera that I loved and which took much better pictures than I deserved! I am a life-long fan of Canon, and that camera was the perfect balance - small and easy to use, but just fancy enough to take decent photos, even in low light. Sadly, Canon did not reissue it, and it seems the G15 lost a lot of the features that I loved on the G12, which is why I upgraded to the 70D instead.
Below are some of my favourite shots taken with my little G12, which I purchased in June 2011. None have been photo-shopped in any way, with the possible exception of cropping. The earlier shots were taken with my little old Canon Pro-Shot, which I have now bequeathed to my 7-year-old nephew. It still has many happy memories left to capture...
