It's been a while since I provided an update on our weather. In summary - it's cold! It was -29C over the weekend, although it has warmed up now, and we have just 4 hours of sunlight. As you can see from the forecast below, sunrise is around 11:45 am and sunset around 3:30 pm.
By December 6, we will see the last of the sun for a month. This will be my first time to experience the month of darkness, and in a twisted way, I'm looking forward to it...just this once!
Inuvik is really pretty at this time of year, with the snow everywhere and the looooong sunrises and sunsets. Enjoy some pictures below.
Sunset behind the MacKenzie Hotel in Inuvik.
Sunset out the back of my house, overlooking the town and the Richardson Mountains.
The view of my neighbour's house across the street from my front window - the winter sun is crisp and clear.

Thanks Peter - keep coming back and checking out the photos. This is a really beautiful part of the world in a wild way. Do you get northern lights (aurora borealis) in Sweden?
